  • With this account you can place your cake related business, shop, services and related events for free.
  • Then we at Cake Pointer will approve your submission to make sure that your listing is focused on cake related products, services, events and Information’s.
  • Please allow for around 1 business day to approve your listing.
  • After approval you will receive a confirmation mail and your listing is immediately visible online
  • If you like to promote your business even better, you can enhance your presence and visibility by booking a premium package

How to register a free account

Signing up for your free account is very easy

  1. Go to the Signup link in the Top Menu
  2. Fill the required fields in the form that appears
  3. You will receive an E-Mail with your login credentials
  4. Sign in with your credentials and there we go, you have your account.

From here you can start adding your businesses, events and online sources for free!

Our submission guidelines

 We will not accept listings that:

  • are not in English language
  • are not relevant to cake relevant businesses, services, products and events
  • are feed aggregators and relay sites
  • are not genuine businesses, organizations or individuals
  • have links to hacked sites and illegal content
  • have racist, defamatory or hate speech character or link to related online sources
  • infringes with this sites terms and conditions

Can I place more than one location, event or online source for free?

Yes, you are free to add as many as you want, as long as they comply with the submission guidelines.

However all new listings will have to pass through our approval process to maintain the quality and focus of this directory.

If you know of a business that would perfectly fit to be listed on this site, there are the following options:

  • You can notify the business owner about this site, so they can open an account and add their business, or event for free by themselves
  • You can let us know by using our contact form and we will list and contact the owners
  • Or even better: You can become an Affiliate of this site and earn some money while you help other people to find cake specialties easier – how cool is that?

How can I list my businesses / events?

First you need to have a free account

Simply click on the login link in the upper right of the screen or on your mobile device just open the hamburger menu, scroll down and look for the Login.

Login with your credentials. Use the password recovery option if you have lost your password. If you don’t have an account yet please use the Signup form. Signing up for your free account is very easy:

  1. Go to the Signup link in the Top Menu
  2. Fill the required fields in the form that appears
  3. You will receive an E-Mail with your login credentials
  4. Sign in with your credentials and there we go, you have your account.

From here you can start adding your businesses, events and online sources for free!

How do I add my listings?

After you have logged in to your account use the Add Listing menu from the main navigation.

On a mobile device you find them when you open the hamburger menu and scroll down.

How can I edit my listings?

After being logged, in the listing detail view, a new item will appear on the top of the sidebar menu with a link to the edit form of this listing.

On a mobile device, go to the listing you want to edit and scroll down until you find the edit link after the listing details

How can I add multiple Locations?

As with the free offer, you need to enter each location one by one.

If use the enhanced options we have a generous offer if you own 2 or more Locations like shops or restaurants.

Check out the our Multi Location package.

Recurring Events

If you use the free listing you can just list a start and end date.

However with the paid listing you have the options to add recurring and custom dates and times

Can I upgrade my free listings?

Yes, you can upgrade at any time after signing in.

Simply edit your listing and you will see the current packages on top of your listing edit form.

Select the package you want and fill out the additional fields.

What happens if my lIsting expires?

If your listing expires, it will fall back to the free listing option.
This means your listing will just show the basic features from the free listing.

However, the Info’s you entered will remain in our database and will be accessible again after an upgrade to the package you had previously booked.

Where do I find the prices for enhanced listings?

Prices are just shown to logged in users.

What we can tell you so far is that with the enhanced listing options on we want to offer you a fair value for money service.

How can I pay for a premium listing

Soon, you can securely purchase premium listings.

We take your security seriously and process any payments using PayPal where you can also use a Credit Card without having a PayPal account (all major cards are accepted).

Payments using Stripe, another industry leader in online payments is in evaluation and we hope to offer you this service too, anytime soon.

What is your refund policy?

All the payed listings come with a 10 day free trial period.

This allows you to evaluate the package you have booked and decide if it’s the right package for you.

After expiring of the trial period we can’t offer a refund unless you supply an important reason.

My business / event is already listed

My business / event is already listed, how can I claim ownership?
First you need to have a free account

  1. Then go to the listing you want to claim.
  2. Click Business Owner? on the right sidebar.
  3. You will be asked to log in if you haven’t done so already.
  4. The Claim Listing form will appear.
  5. Fill out the form and send it.
  6. We will verify your claim and email you confirmation.

What if my business is wrongfully claimed?
 In case your business / event is wrongfully claimed, please contact us by using the following form, so we can check and fix it.

My account

Where can I edit my registration info's?
After being logged in you will see a menu entry called “Your Name’s Account”

There you can edit your your registration info’s, change your password and more.
This is your dashboard from where you can also handle all your listings and invoices.

I have forgotten my password
 If you have forgotten your password, please use the login link in the menu and click on the Forgot password link below the login form.

Follow the instructions and you will receive an E-Mail with instructions to reset your password.

Advertising / Sponsoring

I want to place an advertisement on this Website

Thanks for your interest in placing an advertisement for your cake related business or event on Cake Pointer.

Please fill out the Advertisement request form and after a review we will provide you with detailed Info’s about the advertisement conditions on Tea Pointer within 1-2 business days.

I want to become a sponsor of this Website

As a sponsor you will be listed on every public accessible page by visitors from the countries you choose.

Due to this you are closer to your target audience. But please be aware that we will only accept sponsors active in our niche area.

Please use the sponsoring inquiry form and we will notify you within 1-2 business days with a detailed sponsoring offer.

However - hurry - there will be a max. of only 4 sponsor placements available per country and year.
